To support and accelerate our recent growth and new market expansion, we are looking for an experienced marketeer who knows how to mix strategy with execution to join our leadership team. In this position, you will be responsible for driving initiatives to position us as a leader in our markets, create continuous demand for our solutions and help achieve our revenue goals.

You will lead a small marketing team to begin and set the foundation to grow the marketing organization here at Sonetics. You'll have the opportunity to drive the overall global marketing activities for the three brands; Firecom, Flightcom and Sonetics. This includes all customer lifecycle marketing efforts, product marketing, channel/partner marketing, demand generation, customer success and sales enablement. This specifically includes:

  • Provide strategic planning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product value positioning. 
  • Work with leadership, marketing team and sales to define go-to-market strategy; develop target customers and define core product value propositions and messaging, key benefits, and reasons to believe. Conduct competitive research and positioning activities for all current and future product.
  • Work closely with the sales organization to define, implement and manage sales enablement activities. This includes; presentations, playbooks, battle cards, training materials, webcasts and other materials to support sales and partner sales effort.
  • Work closely with Director of Sales to develop channel/partner marketing strategies. Build the foundation to segment partners and support key partners based on revenue growth. Define, implement and manage all channel/partner marketing programs across the three brands.

As the Head of Marketing, you are able to combine your passion for creating relevance with our customers in the marketplace and deliver marketing campaigns, resulting in strong demand creation, with a clear understanding of the voice of the customer. You are energetic, creative, and are able to balance the practical with the strategic, sharp with the numbers to translate data into marketing insights, and keen to make an impact as part of our leadership team. You're an equal mix of strategy and execution and are well versed at developing a variety of marketing initiatives. Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. MBA a plus
  • 8+ years of senior marketing experience in comparable industries.
  • Strong background marketing technical products and solutions. 
  • Excel at customer interfacing. Ability to communicate with energy and passion regarding the company's vision and key customer value drivers is important.
  • Project based management, including expertise in managing and chartering projects.
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives including revenue goals. 
  • Must be able to travel to meet customers and attend tradeshows, etc. (10-20%)

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team oriented environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
